10 Tips to stay away from Stress
1. Exercise
It’s good habit to start exercise. Even 15 minutes regular exercise will be good enough to reduce stress. Cardio exercises and yoga help to cool us down. It is observed that individuals who exercise regularly, have better immune system and better Stress Management Capabilities.
2. Music, Arts and Cooking-
I am talking about
music that soothes you. A pure music which is played or sung with proper tune
relaxes our mind. Many people observed that they can sleep better while listening
to the music. Other way is to spend time with some musical instrument or
singing. This activity really helps in focusing and concentration. So guys! Don’t
wait. Start music classes and enjoy other phase of your life. Sketching,
painting or cooking are other options as well.
3. Be happy and laugh it off
Try to watch comedy movies and series. It improves our mood and reduce the stress level. Laughing is the best therapy.
4. Introspection
Self-analysis is the best way to reduce stress. This is the
technique that comes after several practices. You should observe your behavior every
time and keep yourself in control. In case of extreme stressful situation, just
avoid the worse consequences. Few people write diary everyday which is the best
way to introspect.
Shree Mataji Nirmala Devi, the founder of Sahaja Yoga suggested to see yourself in mirror when you are angry and try to make fun of yourself.
5. Games
Few people keep themselves busy in playing games like Cricket, Basketball, Football, Badminton or Lawn Tennis. This way they can divert their attention to games and avoid unwanted thoughts which helps in reducing stress.
6. Spend time with family and kids
I used to be very
busy in my work. Every morning I used to feel tired because of lots of dreams.
I started new experiment and started spending time with my family specially
with kids. Now I feel more joyful and relaxed. When I leave my office evening
time then I keep at least 2 hours with family. I feel more content and exciting
for next day work. Try it out. Instead of TV and social media, try to have
quality time with family members, kids and your parents.
7. Outdoor tours
At least once in a
year we should go to visit a place like beaches or mountains.
8. Balanced family and professional life
There should be a balance
between professional and personal life. We get stress when we try to involve our professional life in personal life. We need to keep them isolated.
9. Eat right
Stress level and a proper diet are related to each other. We don’t pay attention to our diet and start consuming more sugary and fatty snacks food. Instead of sugar, we should try to consume more vegetables and juices. Tuna sandwich is also called brain food.
10. Meditation
This is my favorite
part. Meditation brings silence in our mind and this the best way to reduce and
eliminate the stress. Meditation keeps unwanted thoughts away. I am following a
Sahaja Yoga meditation which helps me to stay in balance. There are many people
who got cured from psychosomatic diseases by practicing Sahaja Yoga.
